The HSBH knows Outreach & Education is necessary to foster healthy growth in the community and to create healthy living conditions for all animals. As Outreach & Education Coordinator, Kay Kieper has developed programs for schools, businesses, organizations and clubs to help further the mission of the HSBH – Serving Animals. Serving Community. We offer customized, hands-on classes designed to provide a fun, educational, and entertaining experience with animals from around the world!

Meet the Trainer!

Kay Kieper

After getting her Veterinary Technician degree, Kay decided to turn her focus to animal behavior and education. In working with the Humane Society of the Black Hills, Kay has been able to rescue and rehabilitate several of her show-stopping critters.

She uses her animals to help educate the community while giving a positive, rewarding experience.
