Calling all cat lovers! You can make a difference in the lives of shelter cats.
Through the month of March, the Humane Society of the Black Hills is remodeling three existing cat rooms: Purrassic Park, Cat Adopt 1, and Cat Adopt 2. To celebrate the remodel process, we’ve kicked off our March for Cats campaign – a fundraiser that will help make the lives of humane society felines safer, happier, and healthier.
Each and every animal that comes through our doors needs food, water, their own place to play and sleep, and often medication and spay or neuter surgeries. In 2019, we received over 3,000 felines. That’s a lot of food, water, housing, and veterinary bills! Rapid City is growing, and so is the number of stray or surrendered cats we receive each year… So how can you help?
Your donation to the March for Cats campaign will help our organization continue to provide these necessary needs to our feline residents. All donations specified to March for Cats goes to cat care. We’d like each and every March for Cats donor to write a note for us to display during the campaign. You can change a cat’s life today for just $5 – stop by to see us at 1820 E. St. Patrick St. to fill out your note or download it here for mail-in donations. Check out our online donation option, too (just remember to specify March for Cats in the memo!).
