Mark your calendars, because the 6th Annual Wags and Waves pool party for the pooches is ON!
Grab your dogs, some toys, and the sunscreen, because we’re back and ready to dive right in to our biggest summer fundraiser of 2021 at the Jimmy Hilton Municipal Pool. Help us beat our goal of raising $5,000 for the animals at the Humane Society of the Black Hills – bring your friends, coworkers, families, and all the other animal lovers in your life for a fantastic time for a good cause. Entry is $5 per dog at the gate. You won’t want to miss it!
It gets even better! This year, Wags & Waves has a generous sponsor. Your donations to Wags & Waves 2021 are matched up to $2,500 courtesy of Andy Bartling, Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial.
Here’s a reminder of the event guidelines:
- Dogs must be in owners’ control and supervision at all times
- Help us keep it clean! Owners – please pick up after pets
- Humans cannot go into the water above knee level
Stuff the Truck for the Humane Society of the Black Hills!
This month, we’ve received a high influx of animals from other areas. These new furry friends are in need of supplies, toys, food, and more during their stay with us, and we’re running low. Our designated Stuff the Truck area will be right inside the entrance of the Jimmy Hilton Pool parking lot at Sioux Park during our Wags & Waves event. Whether you’re participating in the event with your trusty pooch, or you’d just like to stop by to say hello, help Stuff the Truck for Humane Society animals.
