Crissy Davies brings a wealth of experience in media and community engagement to her new role as Manager of Community Relations and Outreach at the Humane Society of the Black Hills. With a dynamic career in television and radio, Crissy has consistently leveraged her on-air talent and promotional skills to forge strong partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations throughout the Black Hills. Her previous roles as On-Air Talent and Promotions/Public Service Director at HomeSlice Media, along with her experience as an Assignment Manager for Gray Media, have honed her ability to communicate effectively and build impactful relationships that resonate with both the media and the community.

In addition to her media expertise, Crissy has a proven track record in spearheading community collaborations and fundraising initiatives. She has actively contributed to notable efforts including Toys for Tots, the Dacoda Instrument Drive, RC Polar Plunge, WAVI, and Crisis Intervention Training with RCPD, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to public service and community well-being. At the Humane Society of the Black Hills, Crissy is excited to channel her dynamic background into forging deeper community ties, launching innovative outreach initiatives, and inspiring a more connected, compassionate environment for both animals and residents alike. She begins her exciting new role on February 18, 2025.
