DESCRIPTION:Join Custer State Park and the Humane Society of the Black Hills on a new\, monthly summer adventure: Hiking With Shelter Dogs! \nThe first Friday of every month during the summer of 2021 (excluding August)\, canine companions and staff from the Humane Society of the Black Hills will be joining friends from Custer State Park and fellow hiking enthusiasts on the George S. Mickelson trail for a new\, exciting event.  This fun hiking opportunity will give the shelter pups extra socialization\, exercise\, and hopefully a larger chance at finding a forever home! \n \nRequirements to join: \n\nYou must pre-register for Hiking With Shelter Dogs by calling Custer State Park representatives at (605) 255-4515.\nAttendees must have a valid Mickelson Trail Pass.  (Click here for purchasing information)\nAttendees must sign a waiver at the trailhead to handle Humane Society of the Black Hills’ canines\n\n  \nCan’t attend this event?  Stay tuned\, because we’ll be back September 3rd for another great hike!
